Missed Appointment Policy

Dear Patient(s),


It is wonderful to welcome new patients into our practice and to see established patients. We truly appreciate each and every one of our patients and we care about your dental health. We value the time you set aside in your day to be at our office, therefore we are asking you to value the time we have reserved in our schedule for you.


A missed dental appointment presents problems for us both. For you, a missed dental appointment causes a delay in treatment that was recommended to help improve your dental health. For our office, a missed dental appointment prevents us from scheduling another patient that could benefit from treatment. We schedule individual time with each patient to allow us to deliver the quality, personal care that every patient deserves.


We are simply going to ask you to be very faithful about keeping all future dental appointments. We understand that things happen and schedules do change and we ask that in the future you provide us with at least 24 hours notice for any appointment changes. Failure to provide at least a 24 hour notice for changed appointments will result in a "Failed Appointment." Once a patient has exhausted 3 "Failed Appointments" in one calendar year or a lifetime total of 5 you then forfeit the right to reserve time in our schedule and we will then place you on "day of" scheduling only. For "day of" scheduling we will have you contact us on the day that you are available and we will schedule you if we have an opening.
