Tiffany, Registered Dental AssistantTiffany
Tiffany grew up in Forest City, Iowa and attended North Iowa Area Community College where she received her AA Degree. When she passed her Dental Assisting boards, she began working around her hometown. Tiffany continued with her education and is now an Expanded Function Dental Assistant with certificates in Nitrous Oxide Monitoring, Dental Radiology, CPR, Infection Control and OSHA. When new job opportunities became available for both Tiffany and her husband, they relocated to Waverly, Iowa and Tiffany began working for Dr Alan Young.

Getting to know the patient is why Tiffany enjoys being a dental assistant. She enjoys working with all age groups and wants to make sure all their dental needs and wants are met with care and compassion. She continues to better herself by attending continuing education courses, not only in advanced dental techniques, but also on patient comfort.

Tiffany and her husband, Dave, reside in Waverly and currently have 2 children. She enjoys co-ed sand volleyball, home improvement projects, Iowa Hawkeye football games, and the outdoors. Above all, Tiffany loves spending time with her family and friends.



Jordan
, Registered Dental AssistantJordan
Jordan grew up in Greene, Iowa and graduated from North Butler High School. She enrolled in the Dental Assisting program at Hawkeye Community College, joined Dr. Alan Young's team, where she was trained on-site and passed her Dental Assisting boards. She is certified in Dental Radiology, CPR, Infection Control and OSHA. She continues to improve herself by taking continuing education courses that focuses on advanced patient care.

Being from this area, Jordan knows most people who walk through the door. The most enjoyable part of her job is meeting the people and forming a bond with them. She wants the patient to be treated like they were part of the family.

When not at work, Jordan enjoys spending time with her husband, Trent, shopping with her friends and last but not least, baking. Thank goodness she's talented enough to take the cavities out of the treats before she serves them.



Danielle,
Registered Dental HygienistDanielle
Danielle grew up in the Des Moines area, graduating high school from Earlham High School in Earlham, Iowa. She attended Iowa State University for two years until applying to hygiene school. Danielle graduated from the Dental Assisting program at Hawkeye Community College in May of 2004 and then went on to graduate with an A.A.S. Degree in Dental Hygiene from Hawkeye in May of 2006. Danielle is certified to administer nitrous oxide and local anesthesia. Danielle is a member of the Iowa and National Dental Hygiene Associations.

While in hygiene school, Danielle worked as a dental assistant and dental receptionist in a general dental office and a public health dental clinic. Following graduation from hygiene school Danielle has worked in general practice and has done some volunteer dental clinics and health fairs. Danielle began working at Waverly Family Dentistry in January of 2008. She enjoys all aspects of the dental field and working with the public on educating the benefits of dental health in relation to overall health. Danielle likes getting to know her patients and their families and building a relationship beyond the six month appointment.

Danielle and her husband, Mark, live in rural Waverly and have three children, Landon Adilyn and Emilyn. Danielle enjoys community programs such as women's softball and co-ed sand volleyball. Danielle is a member of Waverly MOPS (Mothers Of Pre-Schoolers). She enjoys chasing her busy kids, spending time with family, boating, fishing, traveling, scrapbooking, and watching movies.



Megan,
Registered Dental HygienistMegan
Megan has been working at Waverly Family Dentistry since July of 2009. Megan grew up and still resides in Clarksville Iowa. She graduated from Clarksville Community High School in 2005. Megan attended college at Hawkeye Community College for 4 years. In May of 2009 she graduated with an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Dental Hygiene and an Associates Degree in General studies. She is also certified to administer Nitrous Oxide and local anesthetic. Megan is a member of the Iowa Dental Hygienists' Associations and the American Dental Hygienists Association.

Megan enjoys all aspects of the dental field especially the challenge of working with patients with periodontal disease. She also greatly enjoys working with children. Megan is continuing to build her knowledge of the dental field with continuing education classes.

Megan and her husband, Justin, have two kids, Titian their dog and Milton their cat. Megan enjoys participating in co-ed sand volleyball with the rest of the office and watching her husband Figure 8 race during the summer months. She also enjoys home improvement projects, rollerblading, watching movies, and being outside, but most of all spending time with family and friends.



Heather, Office ManagerHeather
Heather grew up in Fort Madison Iowa, graduating from Fort Madison Senior High School. She attended Hawkeye Community College where she received her AA Degree and then went on to the University of Northern Iowa for a BA Degree. Heather has worked in the healthcare field since 1998. She was a billing coordinator and front office team leader prior to joining Waverly Family Dentistry in April 2010.

Heather enjoys all aspects of the dental field and the wide variety of responsibilities that her position entails. Above all she enjoys getting to know the patients and helping them in any way possible. Heather continues to educate herself every year by attending continuing education courses.

Heather and her husband, Dan, reside in Clarksville and have two children and one dog. In the summer months she enjoys swimming, water skiing and participating in co-ed sand volleyball with the rest of the office and during the winter months she has fun snowmobiling with her husband and friends. Heather most treasures time spent with her children, family and friends.
